Miss Mary Dawn Stark, 26, of Fleming Island, Fla., passed away Thursday, April 23, 2009. She was born on March 4, 1983, in Jacksonville, Fla., to Paul Stark, Jr. and LaDonna Hill. She recently graduated from UNF with a B.S. Degree in Math and had formerly worked as a professional videogame programmer in San Francisco, Calif. She spent her time developing web pages and being a math tutor as well as writing poetry and short stories. She was and artist and philosopher and will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. She is survived by her father, Paul E. Stark, Jr.; mother, LaDonna Hill (Leon); siblings, Jamie Stark, Hope Stark, Trey Stark and Daniel Hill; grandmother, Ellie Uzzle; grandfather, Paul E. Stark, Sr.; step-brother, Lee Hill (Tammy); uncle, Jack Franks (Debbie) and her puppy, Gus. The family received friends Wednesday, April 29 with an evening service at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am Thursday, April 30 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Fleming Island with Fr. Donal Sullivan as Celebrant.
