| About Me | Retired from teaching Kindergarten in June 2011. Currently teaching Elementary art part time, 1st-4th grade. In my other life, my part-time summer job, I am an ordained minister since June 2007. I completed an at-home program of study consisting of 21 courses and weekly mentored phone meetings. At this time I specialize in personalizing traditional and nontraditional wedding ceremonies which are generally outdoors. I have also officiated two memorial services. I absolutely love this work and plan to expand it once I retire from public education. I have been married to Charlie Johnson for 8 years and have 3 grown daughters, Niki, Kellie and Faith. Faith is the only one I got to raise and she is our youngest. Niki and husband Mike have blessed us with a beautiful healthy grand daughter, Wrenna, born on March 3, 2010. Charlie and I seem to have a shared penchant for little girls and we welcome Wrenna with joy. Our brave Kellie is in the Navy and blessedly stationed in Hawaii at this time. She has completed one tour in Iraq. When time allows, I love to hike the North Country Trail, ride my Honda Metropolitan/scooter around and bicycle. I wish I could say I practice yoga daily, but I cannot lie. I love yoga. I practice a form of dedication called Ascension. Many friends in this neck of the woods have participated in the training also so it is a nice thing to share. I have a fabulous network of long time friends who are my extended family. Charlie is an Army retiree who works for NCCS. He plays harmonica, sings in the church choir and is in a band called the River Valley Ramblers.
