Led a Team of Air Force parachute qualified personnel trained and equipped to rapidly establish and control drop, landing, and extraction zone air traffic in austere or hostile conditions. They survey and establish terminal airheads as well as provide guidance to aircraft for airlift operations. They provide command and control, and conduct reconnaissance, surveillance, and survey assessments of potential objective airfields or assault zones. They also perform limited weather observations. The units are called Combat Control Teams or CCT.

Our Clarksville High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Clarksville High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated. All of us in Clarksville are proud of our military alumni and want to thank them for risking their lives to protect our country!
