| About Me | The last five years I have been working in Alaska setting up different businesses along the Inside Passage and in the Interior. Prior to that, I ran my own quilting business in Idaho. I was a designer in the quilt industry for 15 years, working with designers such as Debbie Mumm. Before that, I served as a paramedic for several years and had time to have and care for five boys! I have four living children and eight grandchildren! One of my sons is mentally disabled and much of my time has been devoted to advocating for children and adults with disabilities. I have done so many other things to survive, such as running a janitorial business with my sons, design home iinteriors for large retail companies, publish my own quilt and doll patterns, (not sissy dolls), Mountain Man Santas! You may have seen some of my work in Country Sampler Magazine. I hope to publish my first book on quilting called Christmas on Cedar Mountain, within the next two years. I also worked in a county library district where I served as childrens resource specialist and headed several summer reading programs in the state of Washington.
