Well I coulda/shoulda graduated in '61, but my mother (Alice Keedy), who taught English at the high school 1957-58-59, returned with her boys to Lincoln in the spring of '59, depriving me of my junior and senior years as a Red Devil. Still I well and fondly remember Dave Houfek, Wayne Prazak, Jim Klimes, Butch Kabes, Leroy Cech, Robert Libra, Vern Holoubek and many others from our beloved class, a dozen or more beautiful girls included, probably beginning and ending with Sharon Harris. My memories of Coach Francis Dostal and Coach Bill Kropp are equally vivid and appreciative after all these years, and of our very dear music prof., Mr. Anderson, who died in the summer of '58, following our freshman year.

We are now just about sixty years removed from graduation! I think it's high time for the survivors among us to throw away these COVID masks, celebrate our once-young lives together, and make plans for the next, say, twenty or thirty years. We have a lot of catching up to do.
