About Patricia "Pat" M. (Wass) Hutton, 58, of Alexandria, VA, died Wednesday with her family by her side. Pat was born in Rochester, grew up in North Syracuse and was a graduate of North Syracuse High School class of 1972. She resided in Hemlock, NY and then Palm Beach Gardens, FL, before moving to Alexandria, VA in 2009.

Pat attended Clarkson College in Potsdam. She was a very devoted employee of C.V.S. as a shift manager and photo manager working at their Palm Beach Gardens and Alexandria locations. Pat was a full-time crafter who loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her mother and father-in-law, Shirley and Carl Hutton, by her grandparents, Yvonne Wass and Esther and Paul Camp, by two grandsons, Jacob Smith and Jonathon Taylor, and by two brothers-in-law, Bill Beckerman and E.Y. Gilkey.

Pat is survived by her husband, Michael C. Hutton, with whom she just celebrated their 40th anniversary; two daughters, Jennifer (Robert) Taylor of Hemlock, NY and Rebecca (Patrick) Smith of Wayland, NY; her parents, Ernest and Suzanne Wass of North Syracuse; four sisters, Ann (Doug) Painting of Columbia Station, OH, Ruth (Rick) Meyer of Newark, NY, Jan Gilkey of Cicero, NY, and Ellen Beckerman of Cornelius, NC; sister-in-law, Sue Martin and her five grandchildren, Ryan, Shelby, Olivia, William, and Jesse; and several nieces and nephews.
Events Friends may call on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale, NY. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. Burial will be on Friday, 1 p.m. in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt.
