About Me	Radio...it's what I do and have been doing professionally since 1977. I have two daughters (Heather and Katie), two grandsons (Orion and Kheiron) and a wonderful wife who was a high school classmate of mine. We got married on April 16th, 2016. I left McKenzie River Broadcasting in Eugene OR in 2010 after 10 years, doing weekends and fill-in on KKNU (New Country 93.3) and some air work on sister station KMGE (94-5 Mix FM). Eight of those years I also worked at stations in Coos Bay. My career over the years has taken me to stations from California to Alaska. Right now, I work at KKNX and KEED, plus KORE in Eugene. I also do play-by-play for high school football, basketball and baseball, American Legion baseball and small college women's basketball from time to time. I've also been a Public Address Announcer for various high school, college and pro sports teams since 1973. I was on the board of the Southwestern Oregon Umpires Association as an at-large member and secretary of the association, plus was also a member of the Lane County Umpires Association and a Willamette Valley Babe Ruth baseball umpire. I was also a Start Making a Reader Today (SMART) volunteer at elementary schools in North Bend and Coos Bay OR and was a member of its Leadership Council and Chapter. I was also on the Eugene/Springfield area SMART Chapter.
