Marieelena C. Mills, Marie, 65, of Pittston, PA formerly of Newark, DE, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023, after a year-long battle with Glioblastoma.
Born May 21, 1958 in Wilmington, DE, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Helen Mills.
Marie was a 1976 graduate of Christiana High School in Newark, DE, and attended Wilkes University.
In her later years, Marie's favorite pastime was spending it with her three grandsons. Before her illness, she loved nothing more than a fun board game or playing outside with the boys. Marie was also a great lover of animals. Playtime with her puppy, Ziggy, always brightened her day.
Marie is survived by her daughter Desiree Sartorio of Avoca; brother Jack Mills of Wilkes-Barre; companion Christopher Fink of Nescopeck; and her three grandsons Gavin, Aiden, and Giovanni.
