About Daughter to Carl & Mary Butler, she was the oldest of five children. Susan loved her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed drawing, gardening, knitting, puzzles, cooking and just being outdoors. She achieved a degree in dental and business and enjoyed working in the business office at Saint Francis Hospital.
Events Played clarinet in the band and sang in the school chorus music class.

During Susans illness she had feelings that she wanted to share. She asked me to help her express these feelings through a poem. Through collaboration, I wrote the poem but the beautiful words were straight from her heart.
