About Me	Jesus Rocks! I’m a Christian, but I’m not very good at it. In fact, I’m not good at much of anything that I try to impress God with. I doubt the world is very impressed with me either, but the world knows nothing of God’s backwards economics and relationship. God says you give me nothing, and I will give you something. It’s good I don’t have the ability to impress God, because he wouldn’t be impressed anyway. Enter Jesus stage right. He impresses God in my place. Such joy. It’s this benevolence and mercy that leads me to want to walk in a way that will enlighten others. Can’t say I’m all that successful, but I’ll know for sure when I get home. To add to all of that I'm a recovering addict/alcoholic who's heart was invaded by the love and mercy of Jesus Christ in 1998. Much has happened since then. Joy and tribulations. Following Christ is not always a smooth and effortless journey. I've been referred to as a visionary philosopher. I believe I am pretty philosophical and artsy and I like challenging yet momentous conversations, so I think it’s cool yet humbling for that description to be given of me. Friends have told me I’m discerning, that I can read people pretty well and I’m good at breaking down what is true and what is false. A life of hard knocks can instill that in one I think. I feel like we are inspired by God to not take all that is given to us by the world and others without testing it first. I do a lot of testing. Perhaps I should lighten up. I really delight in reading and writing profound thoughts and books that inspire and encourage my spiritual and relational endeavors.
