| About Me | I attended FAU (Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL) after OWJC....I stayed there taking both music education courses and also jazz performance classes while studying privately with several great jazz pianists. I fell in love with all things jazz and decided not to become a band director after all. I continued to live and work in South Florida as a professional musician and also have continued teaching woodwinds and piano concurrently. I used to play in all sorts of bands, but now focus on my private piano students and also a new position at Ocean's Edge School of Worship which is a one year intensive for students between age 18 - 23. I LOVE my work and have many students who are now grown and away in college. Many keep in touch which is wonderful since we elected not to have children of our own. In fact, I attended my first former student's wedding this summer. It is a sacred privilege to be involved in my student's lives in such a special way.
