| Favorite School Memory | One of my favorite moments was in Mr. Vance's class. During the year, we had been studying world literature, and we watched the movie "El Cid." Lines from that movie became part of our ongoing dialogue in class. Finally, it was the last day of class, and we were waiting for him to arrive to give us our final exam. Kris Johnson brought in a loaf of bread, which was distributed to everyone in the class. Someone gave a little speech to thank him for they great year, and, like El Cid (who surrounded and starved a city, then conquered them by feeding them), we said "We give you bread!" | About Me | Went to MSU and then Kent State (for my graduate degree). Have lived in: Dearborn, MI; Cleveland, OH; Brevort, MI; Ironwood, MI; Las Vegas, NV; Bend and La Pine, OR. Have visited about 2/3 of the states in the US. Have 2 great daughters, a wonderful husband, a dog and 2 cats. I am the Branch Manager of the La Pine Public Library in La Pine, OR.
