About	John and I tranferred from The Chilton County Training School in 1968, before forced integration. We were the first Black male students at this great institution, We lettered in varsity basketball and football ( "C" Club ) John did struggle with some of the horrors of traveling outside of Clanton during those trying times. We must die! Those words are hard. But they are followed by a great happiness:( Death is the order to be with God that we die) St Francis of Sales
