Hello everyone, it's that time of year again :-). The Annual CHS Class of 1970 Reunion is coming soon and we would like to invite all of our Classmates to this Annual Event. We had a great turnout last year and we are hoping to see even more of you this year. We did not have enough time to let some of you who were out of towners to really get a chance to plan so we are hoping that this gives everyone time to make arrangements if they would like to attend. We are planning to have more functions this year too, so we have more time to spend together. The plan is as follows, on Friday, August 26th there will be a Poolside Party at Garry and Sara Mick's home, located at 583 Vernon Dr, Chillicothe, OH 45601. The Party will start at 7pm and continue until ?? On Saturday, August 27th we will have our Class Picnic at Bishop Flaget High School located at 570 Parsons Ave, Chillicothe, OH 45601. This will start at 1pm at the rear of the school, we have access to the Gym, Kitchen and plenty of tables and chairs. This will be rain or shine, if it rains we can move inside the school. We are asking that everyone bring a side dish or dessert and the meat, soda's, water, plates and utensils will be provided. This year we will be having smoked shredded pork and bbq pork. This was a huge success last year and we wanted to continue this gathering. There will be a 50/50 drawing and raffles with prizes. Music will be provided by a DJ. Feel free to bring and lawn chairs, coolers, lawn games etc. if you have them and you may BYOB if you like. Then on Saturday evening we are planning on meeting at The Dock On Water at 8pm for those who want to have a night out with music and dancing. We have also reserved blocks of rooms for August 26-27 for those who are traveling from out of town and looking for accomadations. The Hampton Inn has 10 Rooms reserved with King Beds @ $124 per night, available both Friday and Saturday. The code for the rooms at the Hampton Inn is CHS. Cut Off date for the Hampton Inn is August 12, 2016.The Christopher Inn has reserved 10 Rooms with two double beds @ $95 per night and 5 rooms with King Beds @ $95 per night available both Friday and Saturday. Cut Off date for Christopher Inn is July 26, 2016. We also have a block of 20 rooms at the Holiday Inn Express, Main St, Chillicothe rate to be announced soon. Cut Off date is August 13, 2016. All rooms come with Deluxe Hot Breakfast along with other ammenities (Pool, Sauna, Fitness Center, WiFi etc.) Anyone who needs help with reservations may contact Randy Barrows, my phone number is 937-232-6585 or you can personal message me here on Facebook. If we need more rooms we can add more before the cut off dates. Anyone who wants to volunteer to help with set up or tear down please contact me. It is very important that we get replies through accepting the invitation here on this event page or by contacting any Committee Members, Randy Barrows, Garry Mick, Judy Climer, Denise Steinbrook, Nancy Kisler Anderson, Nancy MacCarter or Elsie Harris Shabazz, so we can get a up to date head count so we have enough food for all who are coming. There will be no charge for attending but we will be taking donations to cover the costs and anything you can contribute will be appreciated. We feel our class is a very close group of people and each year we are seeing more of you than the last. This event will also welcome Class of 1970 Bishop Flaget and CHS Classes of 1969 and 1971. Should be a great time for all. We hope to see everyone who can possibly make it this year and hope this finds you and your families all doing well.
