About Me	"I was born in Australia and grew up a military brat. We lived in Ohio, Canada, Portugal, and I attended four high schools in Texas (2), Ohio and finally CHS. I cherish the experiences and friends at CHS. What have I done since HS? Attended and graduated UMASS Engineering, got married, raised 3 boys, graduated USC with a MBA, fortunate to be able to work for 40 years, and then we both retired at the end of 2005. Met my wife Marianne at UMass and we were married in 1966. From that point we were nomads as I chased jobs and promotions until we retired. We lived in New Jersey, Stockton and Huntington Beach, California, Cincinnati, Ohio, Salt Lake City, Utah, and finally Morgan Hill, California, a small community south of San Jose. Our oldest son was born in Stockton (1970), and the other 2 boys were born in Huntington Beach (1976, 1977). The 3 boys graduated from high school in Salt Lake City. We all developed a love and appreciation for the outdoors from living in SLC. Marianne taught kindergarten off and on, while the boys were growing up, and again when we lived in Morgan Hill. Now that we are retired, our time is spent traveling, trying to stay healthy, and visiting family and friends. We are fortunate to be able to split our time between homes in San Diego and Osterville on Cape Cod. Marianne's love is travel. I tend to be quite content at home. So, I tag along as the baggage handler and photographer. Over the years we have been fortunate to visit Australia, New Zealand, England, Ireland, Scotland, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Russia and many countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, and South America.. Marianne is accelerating her search for destinations before our knees give out. We have 5 grandchildren.
