(Circa 1975) Brenda Bagwell, very sorry to inform you that I found your ring in the parking lot right before graduation and I meat to turn it in at the office or to simply give it back to you myself but I never got a chance to. I put the ring in my friend Jeff Green’s glove box ( light blue Volkswagen Beatle ) and the very next day he went to see his counselor and got his credits added up and simply asked for his diploma right then and there, some two weeks before the actual graduation procedures were to take place. That same day when I got home from school I found that he had packed up and drove back here to Los Angeles. Two days later I did the same thing and then caught a flight back here to Los Angeles and by the time I caught up With Jeff again the ring was no longer in hi car. I’m thinking his then girlfriend may have grabbed it? I’m very sorry for the fact Brenda and you have no idea how many times never being able to return that ring to you has crossed my mind over the years, but for what it’s worth at least now you now know what had happened; that is thanks to this site.
I have yet to return to Chico since 1975 but I have nothing except very, very fond memories of your beautiful city, Bidwell Park and on and on and on. Should anyone ever run into the likes of one Dolores Dunbar; though I doubt very seriously she would even remember whom I am, say hi for me please.

Have found a ring with initials JM from 1957. Red stone and resembles CHS?
