About	Jill Dorene Hershberger (Wayne) Birth: 1951 Death: February 8, 2009 Jill Hershberger-Wayne, lifelong resident of Chico, passed away at her home with her family by her side on February 8, 2009. We will remember Jill for her love of life and her great gift of friendship. Jill was adored by her husband and was a cherished mother and grandmother. To her friends, who became her extended family, she will be remembered for her kindness and the enthusiasm which she brought to all her endeavors. Jill graduated from Chico Senior High School in 1969 and Butte Community College nursing program in 1987, with honors. She specialized in home infusion therapy, which allowed her to spend the time and care she believed all patients deserved. Through her nursing, Jill touched the lives of many people. Family and faith guided Jill's life. She is survived by her husband, Jim Wayne and her children, Anna Champe (Kurt), Kristin Cobery (Joe) and Ryan Wangberg (Jennifer). Jill treasured every minute spent with her grandchildren Jonathan Champe, Madison Champe, Ian Cobery, and Elise Cobery. She is also survived by her brother, Robert Hershberger and sisters, Joanne Zeltmann, Judy Hamett, and Lynn Furr. A special thank-you is extended to Lynn Pearson, dear friend and nurse, for providing her hospice care. To honor her passing, a Celebration of Life was held on February 21, 2009, 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m., Our Divine Savior Catholic Church, 566 E. Lassen Ave., Chico CA.
