Don was my very best friend. He invited me for supper one time and his Mom had prepared a very good meal. After I got back home I told my Mom what a wonderful meal I had and didn’t understand why we didn’t eat like that at our house. She explained that Don’s Mom had prepared such a great meal because I was company. My Mom was a great cook but my Dad did not make a lot of nmoney and Don’s Dad was a plumber who made more money. One of the many lessons both my parents tried to leach me about life. I miss them both very much and long to see them again in Heaven some day.
