Favorite School Memory	The end. The necessary evil that is high school has faded from my memory to a great degree, however a few of the names and faces remain, both carved into my mind and forever stamped into my heart. The social skills, or lack thereof, were harvested during this awkward period of our lives. About Me	Like a few of you, I chose to drop off the radar and carve out a path for myself elsewhere. The term "anywhere but here" was definitely applicable in 1993. I have been involved with the US military since graduating high school. I served in the Army as a Patriot Missile Crewmember, among many other duties, and spent time as both a DoD contractor and Army civilian. I spent nearly 13 years in Southwest Texas before relocating back to Central Pennsylvania. My longest block of employment in one place was at the Aviation and Missile Command Logistics Center of Excellence at Fort Bliss. I am currently Chief of the Paint Division at the Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, PA. I lead and manage five branches responsible for conventional and chemical cleaning, sandblasting and surface preparation, chemical treatment and conversion, and a full spectrum of military protective coatings and paints, as well as marking, stenciling and silkscreening. Equipment produced by my team includes weapons systems, tactical vehicles, soldier systems and power generation equipment, and all mission essentials for the Army, Navy, AIr Force and Marines. I met my wife Diana while stationed at Fort Bliss, and we have been married for 13 years. I married when I was 20. My wife is of hispanic descent, like myself, and spent her early years in California and Seattle, Washington. My wife is an Army veteran, and a former educator for the El Paso Health Department (vector control). I have a Daughter (Alchemy A.) who is nearly 5, and a son that just turned 1 (Zander Z.). My current career focus balances Lean Six Sigma, operations management, occupational safety and health, environmental protection and equal employment opportunity. I have been to Mexico (many times), Canada, Europe (many locations), Asia (primarily Southwest), and Africa (Egypt), and have been involved in two military campaigns. I selected my military occupational specialty to see the middle east, and that's exactly what I got.
