He was born in Huntington, West Virginia to the late Gerald and Naomi Dingess. He is survived by his wife of 22 years Carole Dingess; daughter Angela (Kevin) Jackson; step-daughters Tiffany (Ron) Burkhart, and Emily (Keith) McAffee; step-son Todd (Jessica) Stowell; grandchildren Drew and Ethan Jackson, Jasmin Burkhart, Zach, Grant, and Nolan Stowell, Haley, Rylan, and Keegan McAffee; brother Richard Dingess; niece Kerry Dingess; and nephews Jeremy and Travis Dingess.
