| About Me | I graduated with a psychology degree from Douglass College, Rutgers University in 1976, then earned a master's degree and doctoral candidacy in social psychology at Northwestern University, before embarking on a career in university administration. I served as assistant dean for academic services at Rutgers University-Camden, as director of business development for the College of Continuing Education and the director of self-support programs for the College of Business at Sacramento State University, and retired from Rutgers-New Brunswick as the Director of Summer and Special Projects in June 2019. In 1980, I married Steve Hough (Cherry Hill East Class of 1972, U. of Delaware Class of 1975), and had two children: Steven, now an attorney for the Department of Justice in D.C., and Laura, a practicing nurse midwife and lactation consultant, married to a naval officer and mother of two daughters and one son, living in California. Steve died of leukemia in 2005, and I moved back to NJ from California in 2007. In 2010, I married Kimball (Kim) Beasley, who has two sons and two grandchildren, a girl and a boy.
