30 years of active and reserve time. Just returning from my second deployment to Iraq. First tour was in 2005 as India Company 3d Bn 25th Marines, First Sergeant. This tour I was serving as the Squadron Sergeant Major for MWSS 472. Retirement is in Sept. of this year!

Susan joined the Navy in 1982 and was enlisted for 4 yrs when she received a medical discharge due to injuries she suffered through child birth. She was in a coma for 6 weeks and lost most of her mental and physical abilities and nearly died of septic shock that year. Survived it to only have it return in 1996 and take her life in 2 days.
