William "Bill" Soknich, 61, of Brockton, passed away February 22, 2018. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late George and Carroll Soknich. Bill was a retired engineer for the federal government and had worked at the Hanscom Air Force Base. He was a member and treasurer of the Vega Club and enjoyed fishing, woodworking, carpentry, traveling, and spending time with his family. Bill was the beloved husband of the late Linda Wass; proud father of Sam Soknich and his wife Mary-Margaret of Ft. Worth, TX; loving brother of Elizabeth “Beetsie” Atherton of NM, George “Nick” Soknich of TX, Gerald "Gerry" Soknich of PA, and the late Julie Russell; good friend and son-in-law of Bud Wass of Avon; and a dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.
