Only daughter, age 45, of Patricia Gallagher and the late Patrick J. Easley, passed quietly at home on Thursday, February 15, 2018, in Burbank, CA after a long illness. Her mother and longtime caregiver were with her. Heather was born in New Kensington, PA on May 8, 1972. She was a graduate of Chartiers Valley High School, where she was a member of the band and earned her graduate degree in Elementary Education in 1993 from the University of Pittsburgh. Heather was diagnosed with Huntington's Disease in 2009. In July 2013, when her disease had progressed, Heather moved to California to live with her mother. Heather was preceded in death by her father, Patrick J. Easley; maternal grandparents, Thomas H. and Theresa Gallagher and her paternal grandparents, John and Faustine Easley. She is survived by her mother, Patty Gallagher; her former husband, Kevin Thornburg; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
