About Age 55, of Whitehall Pennsylvania left this world suddenly on October 5, 2017. Scott was the beloved husband of Cheryl (Kopcho); loving father to Christian; dearly loved brother of David (Patty Krause), Jeffrey (Cindy Swords), Gary (Rae Ann Geary), and Glenn (Elizabeth Urban); loving brother-in-law to Terri (Chris) Dewitt, and Steve Kopcho; wonderful uncle to Meghan, Katie, Eric, Bethany, Tori, Gabi, Ashlyn, Cameron, Taylor, and Hunter; loving great-uncle to Braden, Taylor, Abigail, and Landon; adored son-in-law of Peg Ball, Richard Kopcho, and Judy Basil. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Hirsh (Schultz) and father, Donald Hirsh. Scott was a wonderful human being. He was a kind, compassionate, patient man loved by everyone who knew him. He treasured spending time with his family, most of all his son, Christian and beloved wife, Cheryl. He dedicated his life to helping people. He was a cardiac care nurse at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, where he was loved and respected by everybody he interacted with. Whether it was a family member, friend, patient, coworker, or stranger, Scott would never hesitate to offer a helping hand or assist those in need with enthusiasm without question. Scott loved the great outdoors, especially camping, fishing, and canoeing. He loved concerts, he deeply loved his wife, and his wonderful son. Scott had a beautiful sense of family, always ready to offer support and guidance, mostly thinking of others before himself. Scott left his piece of the world a better place and has been called upon by Angels to continue his work throughout the world. Unselfish love and caring heart is and will always be Scott Hirsh
