Age 66, peacefully at home with family, on Tuesday, September 12, 2017. Beloved husband of 42 years to Christina (Strauss); father of James (Marissa), and Megan Ann Robison; grandfather of Rebekah, Walter and Daniella; son of Aurora C. (Baraggioli) and the late Walter J. Robison, Sr.; brother of Charles (Sandie), Joe (Margie), and Sandra Robison Reed (Roy); son-in-law of William C. (late wife, Dorothy A.) Strauss; brother-in-law of Philip W. (Kathy) Strauss and Ann M. Strauss; also many nieces, nephews and cousins. Walter graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and received his medical doctorate from the Medical College of Virginia, (VCU). He did his internship and residency at Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh. He began his 36-year practice in McMurray and became board certified in internal medicine and geriatrics. While not working, he enjoyed spending his time with family, especially in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Walter was a member of the Covenant Family Church.
