About	Age 69, passed away surrounded by family in Charleston, SC, on February 26, 2017, after a long battle with cancer. Jim was born in Elizabeth, NJ, to Elizabeth Laube and the late James III. He studied engineering at Penn State, and had a long, successful career as a mechanical engineer at Heinz. He was a loyal Penn State, Steelers and Pirates fan, an appreciator of sports cars and motorcycles, a history buff, a hobbyist who loved to work with his hands- woodworking and making models - and a man who treasured a nice day at the beach. Jim is survived by his wife, Diana; children, James V (Jody), Ida D. Rosenbrook (Scott), and Elizabeth Carlson (Joe); grandchildren, Andrew, Jacob, Samuel, Ida L., Gretchen, and Mary; sisters, Nancy Johnson (Mark) and Liz Trimble (David); and nieces and nephews, Stephanie (Nick), Jonathan (Lauren), William (Diandre), Cathy (Ryan), and Dan (Natalie).
