About	Age 58, of South Fayette Twp., formerly of Scott Twp. and Easton, PA, suddenly on Friday, December 9, 2016, and with great sadness, Scott passed on to be in the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Scott leaves behind the love and light of his life, his daughter, Madeline "Maddy" Skirpan. Scott was the beloved son of Jean Skirpan and the late John Skirpan. He was the brother to Mark (Karen) Skirpan, Keith (Becky) Skirpan, Jeff "Skippy" Skirpan; and sisters, Sharon and Sandy Skirpan. Scott is survived by special nephews, Nathan and Eathen Kiszer, whom he considered his own sons; nephews, Capt. Matthew (Margaret) Skirpan, Mark Skirpan, Keith Skirpan, Jacob Skirpan; and niece, Jessica (Robert) Goodall; great-uncle to Keith and Emily Skirpan, Rylee, Marlee and Emilee Skirpan and Elijah Goodall. Scott will be missed by his good friend and hunting buddy, Kenny Patterson. Scott celebrated his life fully and was a happy guy. Despite the loss of his legs in a work accident, he held his head high and persevered with a good sense of humor. Scott was a carpenter by trade, he was proud to be a US Marine and to have received the marksmanship badge. He enjoyed hunting, cooking, his guns, ATV, his antiques and loved his home. Scott received a medal from St. Luke's Regional Trauma Center for courage and strength during a time of extreme adversity in 2007. Using a wheelchair, Scott completed the Heros 5K Run at the North Hampton County 911 Center in Upper Nazareth, PA, 2007. Scott was a very generous man and helped everyone he knew. We will miss his sunny smile and happy laughter. He will be missed more than he could ever know, especially by his mom. Scott is now in the arms of the angels and he has no more sorrow and no more pain. Scott will be interred in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with full military honors.
