Age 71, of Bridgeville, on Friday, April 8, 2016. Survived by Katherine Witzberger; daughters, Kate (Jeff) Stevens of South Fayette Twp. and Kimberly (Matt) Russell of Cary, NC; mother, Emagene (Aston) Witzberger; sister, Karen Biringer; and brother, Jim (Noreen) Witzberger; grandchildren, Dustin, Lilly, Trevor and Emme; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, Carl A. Witzberger; and brother-in-law, Robert Biringer. Carl was a journeyman electrician with IBEW LU No. 5 in Pittsburgh for 40 years. He served four years with the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War as a Load Master on C-130 aircrafts. He received numerous awards including the Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. Carl enjoyed his family, Indy car racing and travel. We will always remember his joyful laughter and deeply miss his love and presence in our lives.
