About	Judi passed away peacefully in the presence of her closest family in Clearwater, Florida at the age of 55 after a brave 3 1/2 year battle with breast cancer. Judi was born on July 23, 1959 in St. Margaret's Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. to the late Carl and Sara Jane Hawkins of Bridgeville, Pa. Judi was loving mother to Sarah (Rawley) Mahon of Clearwater, Florida and Joshua Balash of Brandon, Florida and devoted grandmother to Kegan and Nola Mahon. She was also sister to Robert "Bob" (Cindy) Hawkins (Class of '76) of Pittsburgh and Anthony "Tony" (Ruth) Hawkins (Class of '90) of Bridgeville, as well as the wife of the late Joseph Balash of Springdale, Pa.. Judi is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews from across the country. A graduate of Robert Morris College in Pittsburgh in 1980, Judi spent her entire working life in retail, spending those years in management positions for Hills, Montgomery Ward, Murphy's and Sears. Before moving to Florida in 2011, Judi called Indiana, Pa. home for almost two decades. In her leisure time, Judi was an avid reader and could not resist any good book that caught her attention. Judi's family, friends and work associates fondly remember her for her selfless, loving, caring nature, clever sense of humor, uncanny intellect and outright honesty. It should not be overlooked or surprising that Judi had a wonderfully, optimistic attitude towards life and the determination to never give up displayed in her right to the end of her life. We will forever hold Judi in our hearts as she now rests securely in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
