Beloved husband of Lorraine Mizia; loving father of Walter (Jamie) and Steven Mizia; son of the late Jean Rose and Walter Mizia; proud grandpap of Tyler, Evan and Reese; brother of Linda, Michael and the late Gary and Charmayne. Walter was a retired Allegheny County Firefighter Lieutenant, a retired Navy Reserve Master Chief Petty Officer, a life member of the Fairview Volunteer Fire Department, Past Commander of the American Legion Post #290, a retired Pennsylvania State Firefighting Instructor, a member of Holy Child Roman Catholic Church, and a proud Vietnam veteran. Burial with full Military Honors in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
