About	Lindy is running and playing with the angels now, just as she always knew would be her reward in Heaven. She left us on October 13, 2014 at the age of 51. She is predeceased by her father, Thomas C. Ley, who loved to make her laugh, and who loved taking her to Conneaut Lake every summer. She is survived by her mother, Janice Grudowski, who admired and defended her. She is also survived by her sister Julie, who was her own personal make-up artist and who took her to concerts and religious events, and, with daughter Olivia, always kept her room decorated and festive. Julie’s fiancée, Ray Selva, kept her supplied with French perfume. Also survived by her sister Regina Steiner, who loved playing “grown-up ladies” with her and later loved seeing Lindy grow into the most amazing lady of all. Gina’s husband John greatly admired her spirit. Also survived by her Chicago niece and nephews; Whitney Henry (Riordan) who was inspired by her strength, smile and adventurous sense of style, J.J., who admired how she overcame obstacles, her kindness and how she brightened everyone’s day, and Greg, who was inspired by her constant battling and her amazing strength. Also survived by her brother Tom Ley, who looked up to her as an icon of strength and virtue, always made her laugh and filled any request that would brighten her day. Lindy was 60 pounds of love, laughter, intelligence and faith. She loved big jewelry and celebrity gossip. Above all, she was the most courageous and inspiring woman we knew. Lindy’s happiest days were the Christmas Eve when she received a phone call from Barry Manilow, her teenage heart-throb, who told her “take chicken soup” …. And the day she graduated from World Harvest Bible College.
