About	Gloria was born and reared in Oakdale, Pa., later moving to Chicago, Ill., and then Newport News, Va. She was currently employed at Hidenwood Elementary School in Newport News, Va., as an Instructional Intervention Specialist. Gloria was a beautiful woman inside and out. She had a big heart and a beautiful spirit. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Albert David and Lula Dalton Price; a sister, Ethel Yvonne Venable (Richard Ewing Venable); and a brother, Albert Dennis Price. Survivors include her sister, Judith Price Barbosa of Oak Park, Ill.; her brother, Kenneth Price of Conyers, Ga.;

Gloria was a school bus rider from going to Kirwin School to high school, with Jim Kreger, Martha Love, Wayne Reinstatler, Audrey and many other of the class of 1964. Gloria was caring, was awaking to civil rights. I always admire her courage and commitment.
