Age 53, of Nevillewood. Devoted daughter of the late Ronald John and Dorothy (Hudak) Akerman; cherished sister of Dr. Carol (Jim) Cortese of Knoxville, TN, Ronald G. (Rona) of Americus, GA and Kenneth Akerman of Columbus, GA; niece of George and Larry Hudak; loving and generous aunt of Anne, James, John and Mary Rose Cortese and Meredith Hall. Mary Kay graduated from Seton Hill College and Penn State University. She was managing editor of The Journal of Economic Literature. Through Catholic Alumni Club, Mary Kay made and maintained many long-lasting friendships. Entombment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery Mausoleum.
