About	Susan joined the Navy after graduation. She had a son Sean J Cote (CV grad 2007). Due to complications after the birth of Sean while stationed in Spain, she was life flighted to a German Navel base, where she was in a coma for weeks. Doctors had little hope of her survival. To everyone’s surprise she awoke, but had to be retaught basic life skills. She was medically discharged after rehabilitation and loss of memory functions. She moved to Oahu, Hawaii and after a brief marriage and divorce, moved back to Pittsburgh, where she and Sean resided in Mt. Washington. She had many health issues and life was a struggle but she persevered. She passed away suddenly, at the young age of 32, from septicemia due to a sinus infection that antibiotics were not curing, leaving behind her son Sean ( 11 ), who was the light of her life, He joined her sisters family. ( kim KIRSOPP cv 1979) Daughter of Steven Lober, Camilla Lober Abernathy(James), Sister of Kimberly Kirsopp ( Matt ), Stephen Lober ( Donna ) and DeAnna Smith ( Mead ). She is greatly missed by many nieces and nephews. She was affectionately known to them as Aunt Susie. Susan had a heart as big as her smile. She loved her nieces and nephews as her own children and spent much of her time doing special activities with them all. Their annual Christmas cookie baking was the highlight of each year. Internment at Queen of Heaven cemetery in Peters Twp, Buried next to her loving grandparents James and Helen Scalise. Rest In Peace dear Susan. You are always in our hearts and memories.
