Of Ossining, NY , at age 53. John was born in Pittsburgh, PA on April 14, 1958 and was the son of Peter G and Jean (Tsagaris) Karidis.
John was a graduate of Penn State University and had a PhD in Mechanical Engineering. He was a Distinguished Engineer with IBM at the Thomas J Watson Research Center for 29 years and was recently awarded Emeritus Status.
Dr. Karidis is survived by his wife Lynn, his daughter Amy; his siblings Cindy (Jim) Widmer and George (Lynn) Karidis.
