Age 52, of Chula Vista, CA. Beloved father of Leah Steinmetz, Jerah Payne and John Zanie, Jr. Brother of the late Chuck Zanie and Carrie Ann Hessong, son of the late Loretta and Charles Zanie. Jack was retired from the US Navy and was a consulting field engineer for AMSEC. His ashes were scattered at Cabrillo National Monument.
