He received a bachelor's degree from Southern Illinois University. Survivors include his parents, Martha A. Duff and Thomas Jr.; a daughter, Toni; a son, Thomas A.; a sister, Marcie R. Broskey; and three grandchildren. Inurnment will be in Jefferson Memorial Park in Pittsburgh.
