Rick had just turned 18 a few days before he died very suddenly of pneumonia. He was the #1 football player on the CV team and was being pursued by numerous colleges interested in offering him scholarships. Rick was the beloved son of Ben and Lillian Tolmer and brother of Tim, Jamie and Daniel.
