Candice Diane Yellig, left us on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, surrounded by her family. Born in Pittsburgh on July 7, 1946, Candice was the beloved daughter of Otto A. and Helen Erksa Behling. She graduated from Chartiers Valley High School the Class of 1964 and dedicated 27 years of her life to caring for others as a CNA at St. Clair Hospital, retiring in 2009. Candice's life was filled with joy and vibrant interests. She was an avid animal lover, enjoyed crafting, loved spending time outdoors bird watching with her fur baby Sadie, and was a die-hard Steelers fan. Her greatest happiness came from moments spent with her loved ones, especially her four grandchildren, whom she adored and cherished deeply. Her faith was a cornerstone in her life, and she found comfort meeting weekly with her Community Bible Study core group. Candice is survived by her daughters, Tracy (Dan O'Brien) Yellig and Susan Yellig-Wolski, both of South Fayette Township, as well as her grandchildren Christopher and Alex Yellig-Glendenning, JR Wolski and Zoe Yellig. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Richard Joseph Yellig, who passed away in 2010. Candice will be remembered for her steadfast faith, her loving spirit, and the deep bonds she formed with family and friends. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew her. Friends will be received on Saturday, May 30, 2026 from 10:00 AM until time of a memorial service at 12:00 PM in the Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, PA. 15321.
