On Tuesday, July 2, 2024, Grant passed away peacefully, surrounded by the family he loved. He is remembered as a loving and attentive son to Fred Goeckeler, a special brother to Jen Goeckeler-Fried (Jeff) and Rick Goeckeler (Erin), and a fun uncle to Toby and Reagan. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy, who doted on him, her surprise bonus baby, as well as his grandparents. He loved spending time with the family's pet dogs, playing cards, and watching Pittsburgh sports. He was helpful to anyone in need, a friend to all, and had a positive, carefree spirit that we will sorely miss. A small gathering for family and friends will be planned at a later date.
