| About | Ronald W. Culley, 61, of Sandy Lake, PA, formerly of Collier Township and Bloomfield, passed away suddenly on February 9, 2026. Born on August 19, 1964, in McKees Rocks, he was the beloved son of the late Ord and Shirley Culley. Ron had a kind and loving heart and was deeply in tune with the needs of others. He gave freely from his heart and had a deep love for his family and friends, always making sure they never doubted how much they meant to him. He was known for ending his conversations with his signature words, “I appreciate you” and “love you later” — simple phrases that perfectly reflected the way he lived his life. Ron found great joy in the outdoors. He loved camping, hunting, fishing, and boating on Lake Wilhelm. At his camp at Vacationland, you could often find him cruising around in his golf cart, socializing with friends, or attempting to build the biggest campfire anyone had ever seen. Over time, the friendships he formed there became his camp family. He also found happiness in life’s simple pleasures — listening to music, riding his golf cart, and watching Alaskan survival shows on television. Ron had a wonderful sense of humor and a natural ability to make others smile. Even in his final days, he continued to share his laughter and light with those around him. Ron is the beloved brother of Debra (Michael) Sekelik, Cindy (Kenneth) Naleppa, Jeffrey (the late Yolanda) Culley, Linda Dobosh, and Bonnie (Greg) Kramer. He is also survived by many cherished nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews who will carry his memory in their hearts. Friends will be received on Monday, February 16, 2026, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 5405 Steubenville Pike, Robinson Township, PA 15136. A service will be held at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Billy Younger officiating. Ron’s warmth, humor, and heartfelt words will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to CMT Research Foundation. |
