About We are deeply saddened to share that our friend and classmate, Tom Klutch, passed away on January 2, 2026, at age 64. Tommy was born on November 4, 1961, and was proud to call Glendale, Pennsylvania home. He was a member of the Chartiers Valley High School Class of 1980 — a group that remained meaningful to him throughout his life and one in which he built many friendships. Tom was loved by many and will be remembered as fun-loving with a charismatic personality and a twinkle in his eye that drew people in. His energy and humor created memories his friends and family will always cherish. During his time at Chartiers Valley, Tom was active in athletics. He played on the soccer team and was also a valued member of the CV hockey team. He played hard, wasn’t afraid of contact, and teammates and classmates alike remember his toughness and enthusiasm for the game. Tom remained connected to many from the Class of 1980 over the years, and he was especially beloved by his crew who hung out together at CV on the second floor between A and L. Tommy's friends still talk about the Stephen Elson (CV ’80) Memorial Golf Tournament where he hit a hole-in-one at Fort Cherry Golf Club with many friends and fellow CV graduates there to witness and celebrate the shot. It was a classic Tommy Klutch moment. Tom is survived by his daughter, Alyssa, her husband CJ, and his granddaughter, Annabelle; and by his son, Casey, his fiancée Alexandria, and their son, Charlie. Our thoughts and prayers are with them and the entire Klutch family during this difficult time. Tom’s friendship, humor, and spirit left an impact that will not be forgotten. He will be remembered for the memories he helped create, the laughter he shared, and the connections he maintained over the years. Tom was loved, and he will be missed. May he rest in peace.
