About	Beverly was a woman of tremendous faith, compassion and grace and will be sorely missed. Bev was a National Honors Society student in high school and upon graduation, she attended and graduated from the South Side School of Nursing. Beverly retired as a Registered Nurse working in the fields of pediatrics and mental health. A nurse by calling and nature, Bev was deeply empathetic, intuitive and kind. She had a rare way of making people feel safe and listened to…her kindness and wisdom never came with conditions and she was always so quietly strong. Her faith was central to who she was; Bev loved the Lord in a way that showed up in how she lived: through patience, selflessness, gentleness and care for others. She built a beautiful life full of meaningful relationships and enjoyed the things that brought her joy: singing, decorating for Christmas, hallmark movies, touring historic houses...she had a special bond with the family pet Bubbles who continues to look for her every day and wait for her long ‘Bev walks’. Most of all, Bev loved her family. She was married to her beloved husband Bernie for 50 years having just celebrated their Golden Anniversary this past September 13; they chose each other every day as though it was the easiest decision in the world. Beverly was the loving mother of her precious daughter, Bridget and is joining her son Brian in heaven. She is also survived by her adoring family: sisters Gail and Lois, sister in law Diane, brothers in law Geary and John, 6 nieces and nephews and 10 great nieces and nephews. Most recently Beverly was the Leader of the Leesburg Chapter of The Compassionate Friends, a support group providing comfort to bereaved parents, a position she held for over twenty years.
