About	Diane Serniak Homitz, 79, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 20th at 5:00 PM at Christ United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until service time. Burial will be private. Mrs. Homitz was born in Carnegie, Pennsylvania to the late John Serniak and Ethel Kotyuk Serniak. She was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church since 1994, served as president of the United Methodist Women, a girl scout leader, and a Sunday school teacher. Mrs. Homitz was a homemaker and loved to sew, read books, and travel in her spare time. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Homitz is preceded in death by her loving husband, Barney Homitz. Survivors include her 4 daughters; Marsha (Steve) Bilbrey, Cheryl (Paul) Hutcheson, Melissa Cutlip, Cindy (Danny) Savage; 8 grandchildren: Amanda, Christopher, Macie, Chelsie, Josh, Matt, Korey, Adam; 1 great grandchild, Anthony, and 1 sister, Kathleen (Chuck) Lechner. Flowers may be delivered to Christ United Methodist Church for the service or donations may be made to Traditions Hospice, 500 Osigian Blvd, Suite 300, Warner Robins, GA, 31088 in Mrs. Homitz's honor. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
