| About | Frank Thomas Pascoe, 78, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania passed away February 13th, 2022. Tom was born on December 26th, 1943 in the town of Carnegie, Pennsylvania. Tom graduated from Chartiers Valley High School in 1961, and later earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. Tom married Christine May Fedor, from Baldwin Township, in 1969 and the couple remained happily married for the next 53 years. Tom enjoyed helping and working with people, this skill was well displayed in a 40 year career in the Human Resources field. Tom worked for Fischer Scientific, Gulf Oil Corporation and lastly Walmart until his retirement in 2007. His career allowed Tom and family to work and live in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, New York, Michigan, and finally North Carolina. Tom had a continuing desire to learn and enjoyed studying physics and reading about American History in his retirement. A lifelong sports fan, Tom enjoyed watching college basketball and above all his prized Pittsburgh Steelers. No matter what the game, you could be sure the Pascoe home was the center of fun for all. In addition to sports, Tom was a dog lover his entire life which he embraced by raising many a puppy dog over the years. Tom is survived by his wife, Chris Pascoe; his daughters, Jacquelyn Pascoe Voelker and Michelle Pascoe Frederic; his four grandchildren, Allyson Voelker, Lindsey Voelker, Madeline Frederic, and Haley Frederic; his identical twin brother Robert Dennis Pascoe and sister Barbara Erska. Tom was preceded in death by his parents Anne and Frank Pascoe. The family would like to express our thanks for the wonderful help and care given by Helping Hands of Shelby, NC and the Hospice of Shelby, NC. If desired, friends may make memorial contributions to the Dementia Society of America. A Simple Service Burial and Cremation is serving the family. |
