About Joseph “Joe” Francis Prawdzik, 75, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2020, in Flower Mound, TX. He was born on April 15, 1945, to Charles and Margaret Prawdzik (Koller) in Trenton, NJ. He grew up in and around Pittsburgh, PA before moving to Irving, TX in 1977. In addition to proudly serving in the United States Army Reserves from 1966-1972, he was an entrepreneur at heart and opened a variety of business ventures over the years. Up until his retirement, he spent hours artfully crafting and manufacturing acrylic display cases. Joe, always a consummate sports fan, enjoyed bowling, golfing, coaching his son's little league teams and cheering on his Texas Rangers baseball team. His passions expanded into cooking, music and movies, but his most notable talent was found creatively through art projects and paintings. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Carol Prawdzik (Emonds); parents Charlie and Marge, and brother Charles. He is survived by his partner, wife, and best friend of 43 years, Donna Prawdzik (Morris); daughter Beth Hernandez and husband Marc; son Mike Prawdzik; step-children Don Morris and Tracy Morris; grandchildren Cameron and Madeleine Prawdzik and an extended Prawdzik family of aunts, uncles, nephews and niece. There will be a celebration of life on June 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Dalton and Son Funeral Home in Lewisville, TX. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation to the American Lung Association or your favorite charity would be appreciated.
