About	James “Jim” Eglar, 80, of Eldersville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. He was born on April 24, 1945, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Edward “Pap” and Helen (Patterson) Eglar. Jim worked for many years as a logger with Lyons Hardwood and was known for his unwavering work ethic. He and his wife, Pat, devoted their days to caring for their farm, where Jim took great pride in tending to his animals—especially his beloved horses. He also enjoyed collecting Harleys and classic cars. Jim is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia “Pat” Saulis-Eglar, with whom he shared 30 years of life and 14 years of marriage. He is also survived by his stepdaughters Jennifer (Mark) Bennardo, Jessica Beck, and Melissa (Matt) Ryland; and his cherished granddaughter Maisie Ryland. Additional survivors include his siblings Judy (the late Joe) Warner, Bonnie (the late Michael) McGuane, and Shirley DiPietro.
Events	Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 2–4 PM and 6–8 PM at Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc. & Crematory, 5000 Noblestown Road, Oakdale (724-693-2800). A service will follow at 8 PM at the funeral home.
