| About | My uncle, Jim Johnson, passed away on May 29,1972 as a result of injury's sustained in a motorcycle accident. He graduated from CV in 1970 and furthered his education at the University of Kentucky. During his Summer's, he drove through local neighborhoods ringing a bell to sell Sno-Cones. Children loved him and would greet him by holding up shiny coins for a sno-cone. It was well-known at the local bank that Jim was the one with the "sticky nickels." At the time of his passing, he was the God Father to his niece & nephew Jennifer and Dan. His family keeps his memory ever present by offering sno-cones to fundraise for the Collier Friends of the Panhandle Trail. |
