Graduation Year Class of 1982
Date of Passing Apr 24, 2025
About Albert Charles Love, 60, from Bridgeville, Pennsylvania, gained his wings on Thursday, April 24, 2025. Albert is survived by his two daughters, Melissa (Dale) and Brittany (John); two sons, Alex and Dustin; five grandchildren: Elizabeth, Addisyn, Jackson, Gavyn and Charlie; his former wife and lifelong best friend Grace; his siblings Colin (Pam), Jason (Kayla), and Bryan; as well as his Mother-in-law Bernie, and countless other family members and friends. Albert was met with open arms by his parents, Merle and Josephine, brother Roger, and friends Shawn, Danny and Mike. Born in Bridgeville, PA on April 26th, 1964, Albert was an alumni of Chartiers Valley High School. He spent the first half of his career alongside his brothers Colin and Roger driving across-country to move furniture, and the latter half being a jack of all trades. Albert's ability to build or fix almost everything made it easy to decide who to call when you needed a helping hand, and it was a call he always answered. Albert was a proud father and grandfather who adored every moment spent with his family. He had an unwavering loyalty to the Steelers, never heard a song he didn't want to sing along to, and a sweet tooth so strong that even his lactose intolerance couldn't stand in between him and a quart of ice cream. He will be remembered for his love for his family, sense of humor, strong work ethic, and of course, his uncanny resemblance to Sylvester Stallone in his youth. Much to his dismay, Albert never did get the motorcycle he had coveted for most of his life, but he didn't need one to leave a lasting impression and a trove of memories to be cherished. He was deeply loved and is already terribly missed. His family has chosen to honor Albert in a private Celebration of Life Ceremony.
"The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done." - Rocky Balboa
Rest now, Dad. You've won.
